How it works
- 1
Paste or import your list
Type one name per line, or bring in a .txt, .csv or a column from Excel or Google Sheets. Duplicates are cleaned up for you.
- 2
Hit spin
Tap the wheel, the button, or press Space. Every name has exactly the same chance.
- 3
Celebrate (or cry)
The winner gets confetti and a reaction from Piknado. Remove them and spin again, or undo if you slipped.
- 4
Share or embed it (optional)
Click Save & share for a link anyone can open, or Embed to put the wheel on your own site. Skip it and your list stays in your browser.
Questions, answered
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. The winner is chosen with your browser’s secure random generator before the wheel starts moving, and every entry has an equal chance. The animation simply lands on that pick.
How do I pick names without repeats?
Turn on “Remove winner after spin”. Each picked name leaves the wheel, so nobody is picked twice. You can also tap “Remove & close” in the winner popup. Changed your mind? Hit Undo within ten seconds.
How many names can I add?
Up to 1,000. Past 100 the slices show colors only, and the winner still pops up in full.
Is my list saved anywhere?
Only in your own browser, so it is there next time you visit, unless you click Save & share or Embed. Then your names are stored on our server so the link works. Anyone with the link can see them, but the wheel is not listed on Google.
Can I pick more than one winner?
Yes. Set “Winners per spin” to any number up to 50. Nobody is picked twice, and you can reveal them one by one or all at once.
How do I share or embed my wheel?
Click Save & share to get two links. The share link lets anyone open and spin your wheel without changing it. The private edit link lets you update it later, so keep it safe: we can’t send it again. Click Embed to get code for your own website. The embedded wheel shows a small “Made with Piknado” link and no ads.
